The Offset Barbecue Smoker - Three Reasons Why They Make Delicious Meat



This is less a restaurant review than an account of what I like about Elijah's Restaurant. You could say it's the best beef brisket health facts deli in La Jolla, California, and that would be about right. But it's much more, including my absolute favorite restaurant in La Jolla, period. Here's why.

The Farm of Beverly Hills at L.A. Live had its official grand opening last night. Guests had the opportunity to snack on an assortment of finger style foods, such as Pistachio Crusted Chicken Fingers with Sweet Potato Fries, Veggie Burgers, BBQ smoked brisket Sandwiches, and Vegetable Pizza. Are you hungry yet? I know I am.

All of the meat I tasted, which included the rib tips, the bbq brisket and the hot links, were very moist and tasty, but I thought most of it had too much sauce. I personally think meat should be lightly brushed with sauce so that the diner can add the amount of additional sauce they prefer. There was not, however, any extra bottles of sauce or ketchup (for the fries), on any of the tables.

Sweet Baby Ray's team adds this renowned barbecue style to its all-star lineup during the month of July. You may not be able to get Ray's unique quarter smoked chicken with burnt ends, (the savory pieces of meat cut from the ends of a smoked brisket) anywhere else in the city or burbs. It's served with the Original Sweet Baby Ray's Stovetop Recipe slow cooker bbq brisket Sauce, a side of Kansas City style barbecue beans, Kansas City coleslaw and white bread for ($10.49). Add one-third slab of Baby Back or St. Louis ribs for only $4.

Super "trash" bowl - When cooking, set a bowl next to your prep bbq beef ribs on grill. This way, you could easily throw in veggie peel or unwanted broccoli stalks into the bowl and make one single trip to the trash bin. It's surprising how much time we spend walking back and forth to throw things out.
